Women's Ministry at Bluewater Baptist Church exists to be a caring and celebrating community of women making a difference for God by His power.
Purpose: To encourage and equip the women of the church to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20) as they express Great Commandment love. (Matt 22:37-39)
The Great Commission:
Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
v 19 "Therefore go..." Evangelism. Seeking the lost.
v 19 "baptize them..." Building up believing women through such things as Bible study and provision of meals
v 20 "teaching them to obey" Equipping women with the right tools and training
The Great Commandment:
Matt 22:37-39 "Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'"
